Dioctyl Terephthalate (DOTP)

Dioctyl Terephthalate (DOTP) is known as the most common plasticizer from the terephthalate family. This oil is produced by the esterification process between terephthalic acid and hexanol alcohol. DOTP is an oily liquid with high transparency and mild odor, and is considered the most widely used and most cost-effective plasticizer after DOP. However, since it is not part of the phthalate family, it is used as a softener in the production of a wide range of PVC products.
Khorram Plastic Company, as one of the largest manufacturers of this oil, using modern technology and expert workforce, has managed to play a significant role in the domestic production of this product with an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons.
